I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Northern Iowa with a major in History and minor in Public History. My public history experience encompasses six years. I have worked at the University of Northern Iowa Museum, National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Dan Gable Museum, and John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum. Since attending UNLV, I have been a part of the Walking Box Ranch project and was the recipient of the Newberry Consortium in American Indians Studies Summer Institute program. My research interests are related to the tourist industry in rural Nevada communities.
